In order to maintain communal harmony, an view exchange meeting of the Superintendent of Police has been held in Chitalmari. The meeting was held at 11:30 am on Thursday at the Chitalmari police station auditorium. Chitalmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AHM Kamruzzaman Khan presided over the function and Bagerhat District Superintendent of Police KM Ariful Haque, PPM spoke as the Chief Guest.
Additional Superintendent of Police Mahmud Hasan, Chitalmari Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Upazila Awami League President Md Babul Hossain Khan, General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy, Shibpur Union Parishad Chairman Aliuzzaman Jewel Khalifa and Maulana Sakhawat Hossain among others spoke on the occasion.

The meeting was attended by Upazila Vice Chairman SM Mahatabuzzaman, Women Vice Chairman Sabera Swapna, chairmen of all unions of the upazila, UP members, Awami League presidents and general secretaries of different unions of the upazila, village police, imams, priests and civil society leaders.
