Bagerhat Superintendent of Police KM Ariful Haque exchanged views at a bit policing meeting in Chitalmari to build a drug and corruption free society. Local journalists, people's representatives and residents took part in the meeting, held at Charbaniari Union Parishad Seminar Hall of the upazila on Saturday (August 28) noon.
Speaking as the Chief Guest, Superintendent of Police KM Ariful Haque said, "Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to build a drug and corruption free society.” There is no forgiveness for those involved in drug trafficking and drugs, he said.
He also warned that those involved in corruption would not be spared. He appealed to all to build a beautiful society.
At the same time, he sought the cooperation of the local media personnel to cooperate with the police in the interest of improving law and order. He added that the police are always there by the side of the people in any crisis.
