A drug addict son reportedly killed his mother by stabbing with a sharp weapon at the Johorpur village of Bandar police station on Monday early hours.
After the killing incident the drug addict son Sojib went into hiding, family sources claimed. The deceased was identified as Ayesha Begum,45, wife of Rafik Mia, resident of Johorpur village of Bandar police station in Narayanganj.
Ayesha Begum’s daughter Anjuman Ara said that her brother was drug consumer and very often tortured her mother being fail to realize money as demand. On Monday early hours, Anjuman’s brother Sojib asked his mother for money and when she denied, Sojib stabbed his mother with a sharp weapon and she died on the spot, Anjuman said. Bandar police hunting to arrest drug addict Sojib on charge of killing his mother, OC Abu Bokkor Siddik said. Another murder was committed at Golakandail area of Rupganj police station in the district.
The deceased was identified as Rashed,25, son of Alauddin, resident of Bhola district and now living at rupganj.
Rashed was stabbed to death by unknown criminals near his residence at early hours on Monday.
Police claimed that Rashed was killed by family feud and three suspect accused have been arrested so far.
