Solo photography exhibition ‘Peaceful Bangladesh’ held in New York

A solo photography exhibition called "Peaceful Bangladesh" took place on September 21 at the Jamaica Queens Centre in New York, marking the International Day of Peace. The event featured 20 stunning photographs by renowned Bangladeshi photographer and travel writer Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman. His work has gained international acclaim for beautifully showcasing Bangladesh's landscapes and the peaceful lives of its people.

The exhibition aimed to promote the message of peace and was organized by the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), Elham Academy, and Save the People, with support from the Peace Center of USA. 

The opening ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Republican congressional leader Paul King, who inaugurated the exhibition at Elham Academy. Other guests included Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah, outreach coordinator of UNA-USA Queen's Chapter, freedom fighter Dr. Masudul Hasan, and Sohrab Sarkar. Internationally recognized photographer Tanveer Hasan Rohan also supported the event.

During the ceremony, Dr. Shahidullah praised Rahman's talent for capturing the beauty and culture of Bangladesh. Chief guest Paul King expressed his admiration for the photographs, highlighting the harmony and scenic beauty they depicted.

In his closing remarks, Rahman thanked the organizers for their efforts. He emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in presenting a positive image of Bangladesh to the world. Rahman noted that these events help people appreciate the rich cultural and natural heritage of Bangladesh and its peaceful spirit.

The exhibition was a significant opportunity to share Bangladesh's beauty and promote peace among viewers in New York.
