A snatcher-gang attacked and stabbed a photojournalist at Deobhog Panir Tank area on Thursday night and snatched two cell phone-sets and cash ten thousand taka leaving him critically injured under Fatulla model police station.
The injured photo journalist was identified as Nur Islam 30, worked at locally published Daily Sangbad Charcha. He underwent prompt treatment from Narayanganj General Hospital and lodged the complaint with the Fatulla police station.
Injured Nur Islam told that he was returning home from his job place and when he reached Deobhog Panir Tank area at 12 midnight on Thursday, then five to six snatchers blocked his rickshaw, stabbed him and snatched cell phones and money bag.
