Speakers at a workshop on Saturday said that the SME entrepreneurs of the country are the main driving force of our economy and if it is possible to ensure their skill acquisition, the scope of employment in Bangladesh would increase significantly.
DCCI Business Institute (DBI) in cooperation with Beyond Red Ocean Consulting, Mumbai, India organized the workshop titled “Business Masterclass-Master the Chaos in Your Business” held at DCCI Auditorium.
DCCI Acting President Arman Haque was present as the Chief Guest. Malay Chakroborty, Business Coach, Beyond Red Ocean Consulting conducted the workshop and about 30 participants joined the workshop.
In his opening remarks DCCI Acting President Arman Haque said, DCCI Business Institute (DBI) regularly organises several workshops in order to develop the skill of entrepreneurs and this workshop would pave the way to the skill acquisition of the entrepreneurs.
He mentioned that the SME entrepreneurs of the country are the main driving force of our economy and if we can ensure their skill acquisition, the scope of employment in Bangladesh would increase.
Arman Haque opined that with the advancement of Information Communication and Technology, the trend of operating business has changed a lot, in order to adapt with the new scenario, there is no alternative but to prepare ourselves.
In present day and age, conducting business has become very challenging for the SMEs, DCCI acting president advised to focus more on innovation and skills development to overcome this challenge
Malay Chakraborty, Business Coach of Beyond Red Ocean Consulting, India said SME sector entrepreneurs around the world face various obstacles to operate their businesses.
Due to these hurdles 70 percent of the new startups fail to continue their businesses and forced to quit their businesses within five years, he opined. In order to survive in this sector, the entrepreneurs must focus on their skill development, time and asset management.
