Chattogram University Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a training workshop on cleanliness for CU officials on Wednesday morning in the virtual classroom of CU Engineering Faculty.
Chattogram University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shireen Akhtar was present as chief guest and CU Pro VC (Academic) Professor Benu Kumar Dey was present as special guest.
CU IQAC Director Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Mamun presided over the event and CU Registrar (Acting) KM Noor Ahmad delivered the welcome speech. Under the supervision of IQAC Additional Director Dr. Tanzina Sharmin Nipun, Professor SM Monirul Hasan of CU Department of Sociology provided training as a resource person.
CU Vice-Chancellor said that integrity in the workplace is a very important issue. Completing office activities on time within a specific framework, maintaining good relations with everyone including colleagues by being punctual, providing timely service to service seekers through good behaviour, and carrying out responsibilities with honesty, devotion and sincerity are among the virtues.
By acquiring and applying all these qualities, the organization can be enriched, as well as one's personal life can be made beautiful. The trainees participating in today's workshop through discussion and review by resource person will get important guidance on ethics, which by applying it in their own workplace, they will be able to make themselves more efficient and competent as well as the reputation of the organization.
