Six more matches of the 34th National Men’s Handball competition were decided on the third day on Monday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city.
Bangladesh Handball Federation’s (BHF) president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul formally inaugurated the meet.
In the day’s matches, Border Guard Bangladesh beat Jessore District Sports Association (DSA) by 44-02 goals.
Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated Chattogram DSA by 40-16 goals, Bangladesh Police Handball Club outclassed Comilla DSA by 62-8 goals, Bandarban DSA overpowered Dhaka DSA 37-24 goals, Chapainawabganj DSA outclassed Jessore DSA by 38-15 goals.
Kushtia DSA defeated Comilla DSA by 36-8 goals.
A total of 34 teams -- thirty one district sports associations and three services teams – are taking part in the meet, organized by BHF.
