‘Rokzana’-famed 90s musician Shaikh Shahed is seriously ill. He is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in the capital.
Shaikh Shahed suddenly fell ill around 10 pm on Wednesday, September 30. He was then rushed to a private hospital. From there he was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and lastly at around 1 am to Anwar Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital. Shirazi, a neuro medicine specialist, is supervising him there. "It is difficult to say anything for sure, now. However, it is believed that he had a mild stroke and also had kidney failure.”

Khademul Jahan, CEO of G-Series, is taking care of Shaikh Shahid at the hospital all the time. “He’s a little better now than he was last night. Everyone please ray for him, so that he recovers quickly.”
Mentionable, Shaikh Shahed is the founder of the band ‘Gach’. He has been singing since the nineties. He is also known as ‘Rokzanar Shahed’ in the music hall. His popular songs include ‘Rokzana’, ‘upolobdhi’, ‘Classroom A Boshe Shekha’, ‘Utpakhir Dim’, ‘Khola Batash’, ‘Bhalobasha Ashbei’ etc. His first album ‘Probhu’ was released in 1991. He has since released five more albums.
