Social Islami Bank launched a month-long campaign on cash waqf, hajj & zakat ahead of the month of Ramadan recently at the bank’s head office with a view to creating awareness for the welfare of life of the Muslim here and hereafter.
Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO, inaugurated the campaign as chief guest while Mohammad Forkanullah, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the program. Abdul Hannan Khan & Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors, and Syed Joynul Abedin, Head of Shariah Supervisory Committee Secretariat, spoke at the event.
Divisional Heads and senior executives of head office were also present at the event. Zonal Heads, branch managers, operation managers, and sub-branch in-charges also joined the program virtually.

He urged all stakeholders to promote these products extensively to reach a wider audience.
