Shurjo Foundation has been providing scholarships to meritorious students of various schools, colleges and madrasas from it's establishment.
It has also been providing financial assistance to poor meritorious students, distributing food items among the poor and distressed people and distributing dry food in flood prone areas.
The foundation has also been conducting awareness activities and distributing sanitizers and masks from the beginning of Corona pandemic.
Also provided disinfectant sprays to different districts and upazilas.
Under it’s founding Chairman Md. Oadut the members of the foundation delivered food items to the homes of those who have become jobless due to corona, distributed Iftar items and provided financial assistance to orphans of the madrasa.
They also distributed new clothes to the disabled and street children conducted free blood donation camp. Till now the organization has provided 400 bags of blood. The foundation is also working on family planning, awareness activities and prevention of child marriage.
The foundation carries out various social activities to maintain the balance of the environment and started a 3 month long tree planting program. In addition has provided employment opportunities to unemployed youth in various nurseries.
