Lawmaker of Gopalganj-2 constituency and Awami League Presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his grave at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Saturday. Later, he recited Surah Fateha and offered munajat for seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of the Father of the Nation.
At that time, General Secretary of Gopalganj Zilla Awami League Mahabub Ali Khan, Senior Vice-president and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman FF Sheikh Lutfur rahman Bachchu, Media Secretary of Zilla Awami League M Badrul Alom Badar, President of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Awami League and municipal mayor Kazi Liakat Ali, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Mitu along with others were also present.
