Sheikh Hasina University in Netrokona celebrated birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner on Tuesday.
As per the directive of education ministry, the university authority limited its scheduled programmes and celebrated Bangabandhu’s birth centenary only by tree plantation program due to outbreak of the deadly coronavirus, a press release said.
University’s Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Rafique Ullah Khan along with Treasurer Professor Dr Subrata Kumar Aditya and Register Kazi Nasir Uddin inaugurated the tree plantation programmes on the university premises.
