State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury distributed financial aid and sports equipment among students at Biral Upazila in Dinajpur on Friday morning.
At the time the State Minister said, “The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman taught us to work for the country and the nation with honesty.
Now Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the way to a better Bangladesh. Those who will try to earn money through corruption disobeying Sheikh Hasina's instructions will be thrown out of the party forever. We want to build a hunger and poverty free Bangladesh.”
As the chief guest the State Minister distributed financial aid from optional fund as well as distributed bi-cycles among students, sports equipment among educational institutions and clubs and wheelchairs among disabled students under the annual development programme at the Upazila Auditorium.
In addition, he distributed medicine among farmers listed under Upazila Animal Resources Office and computers to various educational institutions at the same time.
Upazila Chairman Mostafazur Rahman Babu, Vice Chairman Md. Mahamudul Hasan Liza, Women Vice Chairman Firoza Begum Sona and others attended the programme presided bu UNO Zinat Rahman.
