Renowned singer Farzana Wahid Shayan is set to return to the stage with her solo concert, ‘Gaane Gaane Shayan,’ organized by Aajob Karkhana. The event will take place at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on November 22, beginning at 6 pm. This special two-hour performance marks Shayan's return to live concerts after several years, giving fans a chance to experience her entire song repertoire in an intimate setting.
Shayan is celebrated in the Bangladeshi music scene for her distinct voice, original lyrics, and melodies that often highlight global injustices. Speaking about the event, Shayan expressed her joy and anticipation, sharing, “After such a long time, I’ll be performing solo at an event organized by Aajob Karkhana. So much has changed over the years. As an artiste, I aim to bring the sorrows, pains, and renewed hopes I’ve experienced during this journey into my music. Your support has always been my strength.”
Joy Shahriar, the founder and CEO of Aajob Karkhana, shared his excitement for the concert, emphasizing Shayan’s unique presence in music. “Shayan apa is cherished by us all. She rarely performs live, quietly pursuing her craft, but there are many who eagerly anticipate her music. That’s why we’ve organized ‘Gaane Gaane Shayan,’” he said.
Tickets for ‘Gaane Gaane Shayan’ are available on the Get Set Rock website, with prices set at Tk 500, Tk 700, and Tk 1000, offering various options for fans.
