Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has urged all Bangladeshis to come together and focus on the country's future following the resignation of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This announcement was made by Bangladesh Army Chief Waker-uz-Zaman, who also declared the formation of an interim government.

In a Facebook post this morning, Shakib Khan addressed the public and emphasized the importance of unity and responsibility. He acknowledged the success of the students who participated in the Students Against Discrimination (SAD) movement, which was aimed at achieving quota reforms. He noted that the students' efforts had led to significant changes.

However, Shakib Khan stressed that the celebration of this victory should not make people forget their love and duty towards the country. He highlighted the need for compassion and urged everyone to put the nation's well-being first. “Now is the time to show our compassion,” he wrote. “Our country, its people, its reputation, and its resources are what matter most. Everyone should feel safe, regardless of race, religion, or caste. We must protect our nation’s resources and continue our efforts with dedication.”

He called on all citizens to remember their moral, social, and national responsibilities. Shakib Khan’s message is a call for unity and a reminder of the collective duty to ensure that Bangladesh remains a place of safety and progress for all its people.

As the nation navigates through this period of change, Shakib Khan's plea underscores the importance of coming together for the greater good and working towards a better future for Bangladesh.
