Dhallywood Superstar Shakib Khan to share the screen with US actress Courtney Coffeyy in his upcoming film titled ‘Rajkumar’, directed by Himel Ashraf. On Tuesday March 29 the first motion poster of the film was released at New York's World's Fair Marina Convention Hall and the heroine was also introduced at the ceremony. Later, King Khan shared a teaser of the film on his verified Facebook page.
Earlier, on Monday the actor announced the name of his next venture on the occasion of birthday March 28, a special Muhuraat was arrange by the SK Films production with the two co-produces of the film in the United States as Shakib is currently staying there.
Speaking about the context Shakib Khan said, “Now it is seen that the number of halls in our country has decreased. However, if we add one and a half hundred more halls outside Bangladesh, then what will be the issue? We are moving forward according to that plan. The day is not far away when we will be able to make up for the loss by releasing movies outside the country.”
About the actress Courtney Coffeyy was born and raised in the United States and been working in theater for a long time. She is also known to have acted in short films recently. She has been selected after auditioning for this movie among 86 people. Courtney Coffeyy's will debut in Bangladeshi film through ‘Rajkumar’.
Director Himel Ashraf said that they have selected the actress through a professional agency in the United States. The agency first gave a list of 87 people. From there, they liked Courtney performance and selected her.
“The shooting of the film ‘Rajkumar’ will start in July in some of the country's most interesting locations, including New York including Florida, Los Angeles and we are also planning to start filming some parts in Bangladesh like Dhaka, Manikganj and Gazipur near the end of August and we are planning to release the film in America, Canada, Middle East and Australia," he added.
The film will also feature actor Ahmed Sharif, Doctor Ezaz and Farukh Ahmed among others.
