Good news for Shakib Khan fans! The superstar’s new movie, “Dorod,” will hit theaters in September. This announcement comes while his current film “Toofan” is being shown in Bangladesh and 20 other countries, receiving a lot of love from the audience.
“Dorod” is directed by Anonno Mamun. He met Shakib Khan in Kolkata on Sunday and shared a picture with him on Facebook. In his post, Mamun said, “Dorod will be released in September. All promotional activities will start from 15 July. Our goal is to do something good in the world market along with the country. There will be something new in the promotion. There will be a big event with the Shakibians.”
A teaser for “Dorod” was released on Eid. It shows Shakib Khan in different roles, sometimes shy and sometimes mysterious. The teaser suggests that “Dorod” is a psycho thriller. “Dorod” is a joint production between Bangladesh and India. It will be released in six languages: Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan will star opposite Shakib Khan in the movie. Other actors include Shahiduzzaman Salim, Payal Sarkar, Rajesh Sharma, Misha Sawdagor, Elina Shammi, Jessia Islam, and Rahul Dev.
Fans can look forward to exciting promotional activities starting in mid-July, leading up to the big release in September.
