After nearly two years, Dhallywood stars Shakib Khan and Puja Cherry shared a stage, sparking speculation. They were seen together at a fashion event in Dhaka, along with other celebrities like Pori Moni and Bidya Sinha Meem.
Puja Cherry and Shakib Khan had previously worked together in the film "Golui" in 2022. Rumors of a secret romance between them had circulated, but Puja denies them, saying they're just friends.
Puja Cherry commented, "It felt good to see Shakib bhai after a long time. Many stars were at the event, and Shakib bhai is one of the directors of the brand. We chatted briefly, and it felt nice catching up."
Puja Cherry clarified that their conversation was brief due to the crowd. She mentioned Shakib Khan asked about her well-being, and she shared news of her mother's passing.
Puja Cherry praised Shakib Khan, calling him a good-hearted person and an asset to the industry. She explained the distance in their relationship was due to false rumors that caused embarrassment.
"We actors have friendly relationships with our co-stars. My bond with Shakib Khan is like my friendships with others I've worked with. False rumors damaged our friendship," Puja Cherry said.
Puja Cherry emphasized her professionalism, saying she doesn't hang out outside of work. She stated, "After shooting, I return home to spend time with my family. That's my routine."
Puja Cherry dismissed concerns about new rumors, saying, "I don't pay attention to gossip anymore. The audience now understands previous stories were false, and they won't believe any new rumors."
