Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of the Bangladesh T20I and Test teams, has received a shirt from the Argentina cricket team along with well wishes from Hernan Fennell and Alison Stocks, the captains of the men's and women's teams, respectively.
Broadcaster Andrew Leonard brought the shirt to Bangladesh. Before the third T20I match in Chattogram against Ireland, he gave the shirt to Shakib.
World famous Argentine footballer Lionel Messi and other Argentina players have already expressed their appreciation for Bangladesh's devotion to the national football team. In response to the love their football team received from Bangladesh during the World Cup, Argentina's citizens have also shown support for the Bangladesh cricket team.

Shakib was pictured receiving the jersey from Irish commentator Andrew Leonard in the post.
The massive support for Lionel Messi's Argentina from Bangladesh during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year caught eyes of millions, including the Argentines, who were overwhelmed by such adulation. Since then, the Argentines have also started following the Bangladesh cricket team, opening fan pages on social media in support of the Tigers.
