The police in Shailkupa of Jhenaidah had at last grilled an accused of six cases with a trap with a woman from Kushtia. The accused was identified as Biplab Hossain, 38. son of Bashir Uddin of Ramchandrapur village in Mirzapur union.
Biplab was arrested from Kushtia Bus Terminal area in the evening of Tuesday, said Shailkupa thana police. The police said Biplab, an accused in six cases was absconding for a long with the cases lodged with Shailkupa police station and a court in Jhenidah.
The policemen led by assistant sub inspectors Rezwanul Haque and Saifur Rahman had made a trap to grill the man and at last managed to nab him with the cooperation of a woman.
Shailkupa police station officer in charge Jahangir Hossain admitting the arrest said sometimes the law enforcers are compelled to adopt some techniques to nab the criminals to produce them before the courts for legal prosecutions.
