The Sylhet branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. (SJIBL) distributed blankets as well as warm clothes among cold-hit poor people.
The blanket distribution ceremony was held in Shahporan area in Sylhet on Friday. Officials of the bank handed over blankets to poor people on behalf of the Shahjalal Islami Bank, said Hussain Ahmed, a senior official of the bank.
He said that bank has been distributing warm clothes in some other parts of the country.
