First death anniversary of Shahida Zahir wife of renowned Barrister late Dr. Md. Zahir and daughter of late Halimur Rahman and Tahera Khatum was observed on Monday. She passed away on 13 June, 2021 at her residence in Dhaka.
“We request prayers for her soul,” her family said in a statement. Shahida was a former English teacher of Dhaka Women College at Dhanmondi. She obtained Masters of English literature from Dhaka University and the Higher Secondary Certificate from the Holy Cross Girls’ School and College.
