National award-winning actor Siam Ahmed and young actress Puja Cherry starrer highly anticipated police action film titled 'Shaan', directed by M Raahim finally to hit the theaters on the occasion of Eid, the booking has already started.
It was learnt that the film has already been finalised in all the big cinema halls of the country including Dhaka-Chittagong for its release.
The film will be release in all the branches of Star Cineplex in Dhaka, Jamuna Blockbuster Cinemas, Shyamoli Cineplex, Traditional Hall Madhumita and Ananda Cinema Hall from the Eid day. Outside Dhaka, the screening of Silver Screen and Sugandha Cinema in Chittagong, Madhuban in Bogra Shonkho and Liberty Hall in Khulna is final.
Apart from this, Navin Hall in Manikganj, Barsha in Joydevpur, Chandrima in Sreepur, Malach in Tangail, Chayabani in Mymensingh, Madhabi Cinema in Madhupur, Meherpur Cinema in Meherpur, Prithibi Complex in Jaipur Hat, Chitrabani Cinema in Gopalganj, Purbasha Cinema in Shanthare will also screen the film. Apart from this, the producer of the film Wahidur Rahman said that 'Shaan' is also being performed in the big halls of other divisional cities of the country.
He said, "We want the audience to go and watch the film ‘Shaan'." Because we made the film to give them a taste of different stories and get fascinated by the storytelling of the film, the owners are eager to take it. Thanks to everyone for this. The film is going to release on the occasion of Eid in all the big halls of the country. Almost all of them are already final. Some still have formality left. I hope to be able to publish the full hall list within this week. We hope that the Eid audience will see Shaan and encourage us to make better movies in the future.’
Apart from Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry The film also features stars like Misa Sawdagar, Don, Nader Chowdhury, Taskeen Rahman, Syed Hasan Imam, Champa and Aruna Biswas in pivotal roles.
The story of the film is by Azad Khan. The screenplay and dialogues were co-written by Azad Khan and Nazim Ud Daula. The film is produced by Wahidur Rahman and M Atiqur Rahman under the banner of Filmman Productions.
Regarding the context Siam said, ‘Shaan is one of our dream projects. We want the audience to see the film. Let's talk about the good and the bad after watching the movie. Producers will be more interested in making such films if viewers see films like Shaan. Our movie industry will be great again. At the same time, I hope the release of the film on Eid will enhance the festive mood of the audience.’
The action scene of the film is directed by Abbas Ali Mughal of Bollywood. He has done stunts and action scenes in countless movies including Kolkata's 'Panther' and Bollywood's Hate Story 2-3-4, Dear Zindagi, MS Dhoni, Humari Adhuri Kahani, Aashiqui 2, Agnipath, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.
