Southeast University (SEU) organised a recognition ceremony for commendable service to the University on 23 May in the SEU Seminar Hall, Dhaka.
A number of 98 faculty members and officials, as well as 65 students, received appreciation award due to their spirit, commitment, and devotion to strengthen SEU. Besides the Department of Economics, Law and Justice, EEE, CSE and Architecture received an appreciation certificate for the growth and progress of the university.
M Kamaluddin Chowdhury, representative of BoT, SEUT, Professor Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin, vice chancellor (VC) of SEU, and Professor Dr AFM Mafizul Islam, adviser to BoT and head of BoT Office addressed the programme.
Md Jamal Uddin, director, Department of Admission and Promotion delivered the welcome speech. Among others, Professor Dr Md Abu Taher, pro VC, Major General Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed (retd), registrar, deans, departmental heads, officials, and faculty members were present in the occasion.
