An Intra University Open Public Speaking Competition 2019 and Workshop on Basic Skills organized by Southeast University (SEU) Debate Club, in association with Event Exposure and sponsored by Manusher Jonno Foundation was held on Saturday at SEU Seminar Hall, Banani, Dhaka. The title of the competition was "Shompreeti-E Progoti".
A number of 60 students from various departments of SEU took part in this competition. Shraboni Sarwar from Pharmacy Department won the Champion certificate and gifts. Tasnim Nisha from BBA Programme became the runner up.
Ashok Ronjon Datto, chief adviser of Event Exposure inaugurated the programme. In the closing session, Professor Dr Md Abdul Hakim, director of IQAC distributed certificate of participation to the students and praised the initiative taken by the SEU Debate Club. Among others, Mirza Wahiduzzaman, CEO of Event Exposure, Md Faruquzzaman, assistant director of CPDS, Kazi Parvez Jibon, assistant moderator of SEU Debate Club and Rafi Reza, lecturer, department of English were present in the competition.
