The Second part PhD seminar on ‘Viscount John Morley’s Attitude to Society Exposed in His Writings’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Wednesday.
IU English Department arranged the seminar at the first floor of Rabindra-Nazrul arts faculty building on the campus.
PhD fellow M Shahzada Basunia presented his article under the supervision of IU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M Shahinoor Rahman.
In the seminar, Basunia explained about Morley’s politics, literary contribution, social policy, literary criticism, essay and biography.
Professor Dr. Miah M Rashiduzzaman of the department addressed the seminar as the chief discussant with Professor Dr. Mossammad Salma Sultana, Chairman of the department in the chair.
Assistant Professor Prokash Chandra Biswas conducted the seminar attended by all teachers of the department.
