A seminar on ‘Importance and Impact of ITEE’ was held at Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) on Wednesday (January 8). School of Science & Engineering of CUB, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) jointly arranged the seminar with a view to targeting Japanese market.
Dr. Chowdhury Nafees Sarafat, founding chairman and Board of Trustee of CUB, attended the function as the chief guest. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam chaired the seminar, while Akihiro Shoji, JICA exper, was present as guest of honor. Md. Golam Sarwar, Project Director, BCC delivered keynote, while Dr Md Shahrukh Adnan Khan, FERC Dean (Acting), School of Science and Engineering, Head of EEE Department and Director of Innovation and Commercialization Center moderated the program.
Prof D. Nazrul Islam, Advisor, Board of Trustees and Dean, School of Business, Mr. Sheikh Mozaffar Hossain, Treasurer (Designate), Prof. S M Arifuzzaman, Head of School of Business, Faculty member, program supervisor and many others were present at the time.
