The Micro-Irrigation Wing of BADC organised a seminar titled 'Study on the Effectiveness of Constructed and Planned Rubber Dams in Bangladesh and Minor Irrigation Survey 2023–24'. The event took place on Wednesday at the Seminar Hall of the Irrigation Building in the capital.
Abdullah Sajjad, NDC, Chairman (Grade 1) of BADC, graced the seminar as the chief guest. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, various organisations, BADC's technical staff, and other officials attended the seminar.
Chairman BADC highlighted that the organisation is diligently following the government's outlined plans. He emphasised the crucial role played by BADC's Micro-Irrigation Wing in expanding irrigation facilities and enhancing irrigation management to increase arable land."
