A seminar on problem solving and future planning was held at the administrative building of Jamalpur General Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, assistant director of the hospital, and was attended by Raju Ahmed, deputy director of the district social services office, Jannatul Ferdousi, assistant director, GM Mizanur Rahman, vice president of the district Awami League, Tariq Meher, senior doctor of the hospital Members Mir Anshar Ali, Shamima Khan, Siddiqur Rahman, Ripon and others. Hospital Social Service Officer Tamizul Hossain conducted the program. Increased lifetime membership in the meeting, conducting fund raising campaigns, occasionally monitoring the hospital activities with the members of Patient Welfare Association, increasing the number of services for poor patients, conducting night service activities, effective role of members. The members present expressed important views on strengthening the hospital social service activities including holding regular meetings of the committee.
