A day long motivational workshop of finance ministry supported programme Social Development Foundation (SDF) was held at Jhenaidah circuit house on Tuesday. The progarmme is implemented under the resilience entrepreneurship and livelihood project of the ministry of finance government. The aim of the programme was establish sustainable organization, provide assistance to under privileged and disadvantaged people, develop rural infrastructures in rural areas, ensure nutrition and health.
Presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manira Begum, SDF chairman also a retired senior secretary Abdus Samad attended as chief guest, while foundation’s managing director AZM Shakhawat Hossain, local government deputy director in Jhenaidah Yearul Islam and additional superintendent of police in Jhenaidah Sadar circle Abu Rasel attended as special guests.
SDF Jashore region director Hedayet Ullah, Jhenaidah district manager Kazi Hasanuzzaman, district officer Dr, Asim Kumar Saha, Jashore regional manger Jakir Hossain, Azam Khan and Jhenaidah district officer Humayun Kabir among others resent.
The speakers said the project continue for five years Jhenaidah Sadar, Shailkupa and Harinakundu upazilas will help improve the socio-economic state of the under privileged and disadvantaged people. A total of 50 government level officials participated in the workshop.
