Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman said he is optimistic that Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant Project in Ishwardi of Pabna will be completed within the stipulated time. He said this while visiting the project in Ruppur of Ishwardi on Thursday afternoon. He also exchanged views with the authorities concerned at the time.
Among others Member of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority Engineer Monirul Islam, Director of Atomstroyexport Ruppur Project Mr. Tupilov, Deputy Project Director Hasinur Rahman, Director (Site) Engineer Ashraful Islam, Chief Administrative Officer Golam Mahbub and Acting Officer KBM Ruhul Quddus were present at the time.
The Minister expressed satisfaction over the progress of the construction of the project during his visit. The minister visits the project area once or twice a month to monitor the progress of the project properly.
