Tasmery Under-14 School Handball tournament (boy's and girl's) begins from Tuesday (yesterday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
A total of twenty eight schools handball teams of Dhaka Metropolis including sixteen of boys' and twelve of girls' are taking part in the meet. Organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation Tasmery Group are the sponsors of the competition.
The participating boy's teams:
Group A - Uttar Kafrul High School, Khaled Haider Memorial High School, Sunnydale and Heed International.
Group B - Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College, Model Academy, Wills Little Flower School and Ideal School, Motijheel.
Group C - Mitali Bidyapith High School, Methodist English Medium School, Saint Gregory High School and Navy College.
Group D - Narinda Govt. High School, South Point School and College , Cambrian School and College and Scholastica, Uttara.
The participating girl's teams:
Group A - Scholastica Uttara, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College and Ideal School, Motijheel.
Group B - Kodomtola Purbo Basabo, Sunnydale and Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar College
Group C - Heed International, Wills Litte Flower School and Uttar Kafrul High School.
Group D - South Point School and College, Shere Bangla Girls College and Navy College.
