Director of Curriculum Development of King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, KSA Prof. Dr. Suha Bint Muhammad Al-Tayyar called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Thursday at the latter’s office of the university.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on Arabic language and literature between Dhaka University and King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, KSA. Exchanges of teachers, students and researchers between these two academic institutions were also discussed in the meeting.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guest for her visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities. He said, Arabic language is one of the strong media to communicate with the people and make relationship around the world as well as foster historical, cultural and religious heritage. He sought cooperation from Saudi Professor to develop DU Arabic Department and enrich departmental teachers and students with Arabic language skills.
Saudi professor assured the VC of providing all possible support and cooperation for curriculum development of DU Arabic Department as well as enhancement of skills in Arabic language of teachers and students of the department.
