Television stars Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury won the best actor and actress award at the RTV 10th Star Awards for their performance in 'Shift'. It was directed by producer Sanjay Samaddar last year. After that project, the pair is coming together on screen for the same producer. The name of the new drama is 'Naamkaran’'.
Swarup Chandra Dey designed the screenplay off the story of Yasir Arafat and Sanjay under the direction of Sabbir Sanjoy Somaddar. The producer said that it would be a romantic story with a suspense thrill. The shoot recently concluded in Uttara of the capital.
The producer said that these two artistes, Nisho and Mehzabin, along with himself, have been honored for the play 'Shift'. “It is a great pleasure for him. He had not worked with them after ‘Shift’. Hence, this time he is casting the same pair. The two are very conscious and giving about the work. Hopefully viewers will see something new in this pairing in this work.”
On the other hand, the actress of the drama Mehazabien Chowdhury said, "I am working with Sanjoy Dada after a long time post 'Shift'. Nisho is here with me too. Story-telling, making etc it all has Sanjoy Dada’s interest. We hope the audience will appreciate this work as well.”

The producer said that the drama will be aired on the private television channel RTV on the occasion of the coming Valentine's Day.
