Former West Indies batter Marlon Samuels has been found guilty of four offences under the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) Anti-Corruption Code. Samuels was charged by the ICC on behalf of the ECB back in 2021. He was found guilty after he exercised his right to a hearing before an independent anti-corruption tribunal.

The two time T20 World Cup winner has been found guilty of failing to disclose to the designated anti-corruption official about the receipt of a gift/payment that was given under circumstances that could bring him or the sport into disrepute, for failing to disclose the receipt of hospitality of a value of USD 750 or more, for not cooperating with the investigation and obstructing or delaying it by concealing relevant information. The appropriate sanctions will be imposed by the Tribunal after considering submissions made by each party.
