Salextra Limited, a prominent mobile and IoT device manufacturer, has been awarded ISO certifications in three categories by Intertek, a respected organization in international standards monitoring and certification.
The certifications include Quality Management (ISO-9001:2015), Environmental Management (ISO-14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO-45001:2018), according to a press release received on Sunday.
Chairman of Salextra Limited Ashraf Bin Taj expressed pride in the achievement, attributing it to the relentless hard work and team effort of their employees. The certifications were awarded for Salextra's state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, environment-friendly practices, and commitment to employee safety.
The certificates were handed over on May 29, 2024, at Intertek Bangladesh HQ. Senior management from both Salextra and HMD Global, the makers of Nokia mobile phones, were present at the ceremony.
Salextra Limited began its journey in 2020 as a distributor and started manufacturing Nokia mobile phones in December 2023. With these certifications, Salextra is now officially recognized for complying with 100% international standards in mobile and IoT device manufacturing.
