In two separate events, members of the Bangladesh women’s football team, winners of the SAFF Women’s Football Championship 2024, were honored by district administrations in Thakurgaon and Satkhira for their historic achievement.
The District Administration and District Sports Association of Satkhira jointly organized a reception at the district’s Shilpakala Academy, where the SAFF-winning players from the district captain Sabina Khatun, Masura Parvin, and Afida Khandaker Pranti were honored on Thursday.
Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mostak Ahmed, the program featured speeches from the honored athletes and other dignitaries.
Captain Sabina Khatun, accompanied by her teammates Masura and Afida, expressed gratitude for the warm reception.
