Sabina Khatun, born in Palashpol, Satkhira, this female footballer started playing football in 2007 when she was studying in class eight. She got a chance in the national team in 2009. After that, there was no looking back. In 2016, she got the captaincy of the Bangladesh women's football team. She said that the contribution of local coach Akbar Ali was more behind the rise of Sabina. Sabina's future goal is to do something good for the country at the ASEAN Games. She established an academy for the girls of Satkhira to play a more prominent role in national football.
