Actress Sabila Nur, known for her versatile roles in TV dramas and OTT platforms, is set to portray a Jatrapala dancer named 'Princess Diana' in an upcoming play. Directed by Naeem Imtiaz Niamul, the drama, also titled "Princess Diana," marks Sabila’s debut as a dancer.

Filming began last Wednesday in various locations in Manikganj and will continue until Friday. Sabila expressed her excitement, saying, "I have been dancing since childhood and still perform on stage regularly. However, this Jatrapala dance is a new experience for me. It's a different style, but my background in dance has been an advantage."

Discussing her character, Sabila shared, "There is a challenge in the character. In our society, Jatrapala dancers are often coveted by the village elite for luxury. This perception extends to Princess Diana in the drama."

Sabila further added, "I learned something new while working on this project. It feels great to work on such a unique story and character."

"Princess Diana" is scheduled to air on Channel I's Eid programme. Written by Mejbah Uddin Sumon, the play also stars Partha Sheikh, Erfan Mridha Shiblu, Sohel Khan, and others.
