The Russian House in Dhaka organized an educational seminar to highlight opportunities for higher education in Russia under the scholarship quota of the Government of the Russian Federation. The event was aimed at Bangladeshi students interested in enrolling in Russian universities for the upcoming academic year.

Pavel Dvoychenkov, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, provided participants with detailed insights into the selection process for various educational programs under the quota system and guided them through the application procedure on the online platform [education-in-russia.com](https://education-in-russia.com). He emphasized the longstanding role Russia has played in creating educational opportunities for Bangladeshi students, with thousands having studied in Russian institutions over the years.

“Russian universities offer students a unique opportunity to gain world-class education and bring back valuable experiences to contribute to Bangladesh’s future,” Dvoychenkov said, highlighting the success of Bangladeshi graduates who hold high-ranking positions in government and business.

The seminar also featured presentations from Russian language instructors and Bangladeshi university rectors who studied in Russia. Antor Mahamudul Hashan, a Doctor of Science in Information Technology and lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS in Moscow, joined the event online to share his experience studying in Russia.

The application process for the scholarship quotas for the next academic year, which began on October 7, will remain open until January 15, 2025. Participants were given guidance on registration and learned about additional opportunities offered by the Russian House, including Russian language courses and youth programs.
