Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport will feature the state-of-the-art S-400 Triumf and S-350E Vityaz air defense systems, modern aircraft and helicopters and aerial weapons at the Airshow China 2022, the company’s press office said on Monday.
The airshow began on November 8 and will run till November 13 in Zhuhai, China, the press office said.
This year we will showcase in Zhuhai the best and latest products from Russian aircraft and helicopter manufacturers, effective weapons, air and missile defense solutions, the press office quoted Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev as saying.
In particular, Rosoboronexport will show air defense assets of various ranges: the S-400
Triumf long-range and S-350E Vityaz medium-range air defense systems, the Tor-E2 short-range surface-to-air missile system, Verba man-portable air defense systems, as well as a variety of automated command and control systems for air defense units, the press office said.
Russia’s state arms seller will also demonstrate the Ka-52 reconnaissance/attack helicopter, the Mi-28NE attack helicopter and the Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, which have shown excellent combat and operational qualities under real conditions and are expected to arouse a keen interest at the exhibition, the press office said.
At its stand at the Airshow China 2022, Rosoboronexport will also showcase a full range of Russian military aircraft, including the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter, the Su-35 multirole super-maneuverable fighter, the Su-34E fighter-bomber and the MiG-35 multirole fighter in single- and dual-pilot configurations, it said.
Visitors to the Airshow China 2022 will see the IL-78MK-90A tanker aircraft and the IL-76MD-90A(E) military transport plane. Rosoboronexport will also demonstrate the BTR- MDM multi-purpose airborne armored personnel carrier and the BMD-4M airborne infantry fighting vehicle, the press office said.
Among aerial weapons, Rosoboronexport will exhibit a wide range of smart and guided aerial bombs, various missiles capable of effectively engaging ground, surface and air targets, including those with an extended standoff range exceeding the engagement range of current and advanced air defenses, it said.
As part of the Airshow China 2022 business program, the Rosoboronexport delegation is ready to make presentations of the latest Russian weapons and military equipment and hold negotiations on their supply or joint production in the format of industrial partnership," the press office said.
