Poisonous snake Russell Viper has been recovered from a house house in Bhola’s Daulatkhan upazila. The snake was recovered from the house of Safiullah of Munshi Bari in Ward 8 of Bhabanipur Union on Saturday morning. Hundreds of people flocked to the house to see the poisonous snake. According to locals, Safiullah saw the snake in his kitchen. At that time, the family members of Safiullah got very scared. Later, with the help of a young man named Rakib, a neighbor, the snake was captured in a container. Upon receiving the news, the people of the forest department rescued the poisonous snake and took it away for release.
Daulatkhan Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tareq Hawlader said the matter has been reported to the forest department. They are looking into the matter.
Daulatkhan Range Officer of the Forest Department Akram Hossain said that measures have been taken to rescue the snake and release it in Shashiganj bit forest of Tajumuddin range.
