‘Rupsha Nodir Baake’ to stream online

Tanvir Mokammel's historical film 'Rupsha Nodir Baake' was released on December 11. In the first week, visitors saw it in the auditorium of the Public Library in Shahbagh, in addition to the three elite multiplexes in Dhaka and Chattogram. 

Now, producer Tanvir Mokammel said that interested viewers can enjoy the film on their own device at home if they want. The exhibition will run for 3 consecutive days from 25 to 27 December through the Zoom app. For this, the spectators have to buy tickets in advance.

Regarding the rules for streaming the film on the internet after buying tickets, the producer said that the schedule of the exhibition is at 11 am, 4 pm, 7 pm and 10 pm Bangladesh time every day. If you want to see, you have to pay 200 taka. The money has to be sent to this number through bKash - 01927 525364. 

The e-mail ID must be provided when sending the money through bKash. December 24 is the last day to book tickets. After payment, a zoom link to view the image will be sent to the viewer's e-mail ID.

National Film Award-winning producer Tanvir Mokammel said, “The story of the film revolves around the life of a leftist leader. The life of this man and his sacrificial political life is the main premise of the film. At the end of the film liberation war will start. I took the initiative to make the film with that in mind.”

The film will cover the nationalist movement of the thirties, the Tebhaga movement, the assassination of communists in the Khapra ward of Rajshahi jail and other notable events.

Meanwhile, the film will be screened at the 51st Goa Film Festival from January 16 to 24 in the World Panorama section.
