In the month of victory, 10 branches of Rupali Bank PLC. have been converted into model branches to be an active partner in building Smart Bangladesh and to further accelerate technology-based and modern banking.
On Sunday, Bank’s Chairman Kazi Sanaul Hoq and Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Jahangir inaugurated the model branch program at Rupali Sadan Corporate Branch in Motijheel, Dhaka.
In the event, the state-owned Rupali Bank's smart service will be delivered to the doorsteps of all categories of service recipients in the new year. Freedom fighters, senior citizens, women and disabled customers will be served in the model branches by setting up specialized desks.
Customers will get faster and better service at model branches. Also CMSME borrowers will get special services in all these branches. Initially 10 branches were converted into model branches, gradually different branches across the country will be converted into model branches.
Later, SK Road Corporate branch was also virtually inaugurated as a model branch.
Also, banking activities will be carried out as model branches in Sagardi Bazar of Barishal, O.R Nizam Road Corporate of Chattogram Manoharpur Corporate of Cumilla, Meherpur Corporate, Tangail's Kalihati, Rajshahi Corporate, Dinajpur's Birganj and Mira Bazar Corporate branches of Sylhet.
At that time, DMD of the bank Kazi Abdur Rahman, Tahmina Akhtar and Hasan Tanveer, general manager Md. Harunur Rashid, Shikder Farooq e Azam, Mohammad Safayet Hossain, Salamun Nessa, Tanvir Hasnain Moin, Md. Abul Hasan and Md. Moinuddin Masud and DGM of Rupali Sadan Corporate branch. Mostafa Hamid and senior officers of the bank were present along with the AGM of SK Road branch.
