Popy'ssilence has caused a stir in Dhaka’s film industry. There is rumour in the air that Popy is busy with her husband and family. Various media outlets have reported that Popy secretly married an engineer a year ago!
After she moved to a luxurious flat in Baridhara of the capital off late, the rumors surrounding her secret mirage became sounder in Mediapara as well as elsewhere.
However, a reliable source said that Popy married an expatriate living in Malaysian and he is not an engineer. According to sources, Popy was in love with a Malaysian expatriate for a long time. She got married to him. This correspondent repeatedly tried to reach Popy over phone but her mobile was switched off. The reporter later contacted a person close to Poppy.
The person told this reporter on condition of anonymity that she (Popy) came to Dhaka from Khulna after her recovery from Covid-19 which was quite a long time ago. "She had told me that she has moved to a new house. But she didn't tell me anything about her marriage or anything else like this.” Meanwhile, Popy has finished shooting for the movie 'SahosiJoddha' directed by Sadek Siddiqui. The actress has also completed a movie called 'Bhalobasar Prajapati'.
