A two-day long inter-college athletics competition ended at Rajshahi University on Tuesday amid much enthusiasm and festivity.
RU Shah Mukhdum hall have became champion getting 73 points while Shaheed Ziaur Rahman hall became runners up getting 37 points on the event.
Shakib Hasan, a resident of Shaheed Suhrawardy hall and Zakia Sultana Shubarna, a resident of Rokeya hall became the fastest human respectively. A total of 200 participants have competed at 30 events. RU vice chancellor professor M Abdus Sobhan attended at the prize giving ceremony in the university’s Sheikh Kamal stadium where RU pro vice chancellors professor Ananda Kumar Saha, professor Zakaria athletics and aquatics sub committee’s president and also social faculty dean professor Fazlul Islam, different hall provosts and athletics department director, among others were present on the event.
