Rajshahi University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar, officially disclosed the outcomes of the Graduate (Honours) and Graduate Class First Year Admission Test 'B' Unit (Commerce) for the academic year 2023-24. The announcement unfolded at the university's ICT Center office on Wednesday, March 13, at 11:00 am.
The results encompassed three key disciplines: commerce, humanities, and science. Among 15,625 examinees in the commerce department, 7,077 candidates secured passage, reflecting a pass rate of 45.3 percent. Notably, the highest score attained stood at 86.5, although 18 accounts faced cancellation due to various discrepancies.
Within the science domain, out of 11,392 candidates, only 1,300 emerged successful, marking a pass rate of 11.5 percent. The highest score achieved in this category was 72, while 28 accounts were annulled. Likewise, in the humanities department, out of 7,524 candidates, 1,257 clinched success, yielding a pass rate of 16.7 percent.
The highest mark recorded was 76.5, with 17 accounts encountering cancellation.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Sultan-ul-Islam Islam, Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. Humayun Kabir, Administrator of Public Relations Department Prof. Pradeep Kumar Pandey, Director of ICT Center Prof. Khademul Islam Molya, along with Deans of concerned faculties and department heads.
