Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that his focus is on contributing as a team player for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, rather than pursuing individual accolades as his career winds down, according to a report by Reuters.

The 39-year-old Portuguese star, who claimed the prestigious Ballon d'Or five times, found the net during Al Nassr’s 2-1 victory over Qatar’s Al Rayyan in an AFC Champions League Group B match on Monday.

The win marked Al Nassr’s fourth consecutive triumph across all competitions under the guidance of newly appointed coach Stefano Pioli, who replaced Luis Castro last month.

Speaking at a press conference after the match, Ronaldo acknowledged the challenge posed by the competition, saying, "It was a strong and difficult match like all the matches in the AFC Champions League, but the most important thing is that we created many chances and defended well to prevent the opponent from creating easy chances."

The legendary forward stressed that his priority is now on helping the team succeed rather than chasing personal milestones.
