Police arrested a Rohingya couple from Mymensingh regional passport office. They came here to get passports as husband and wife.
The detained Rohingyas are Nasima (21) and Saeed (26). During interrogation they informed that they are residents of Teknaf 27 camp in Cox's Bazar.
According to the police, the husband and wife came to Mymensingh Regional Passport Office.
At that time, their speech and behaviour seemed suspicious, the people of the passport office arrested them.
Later, they were handed over to the police.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station Main Uddin said that they will be sent back to the Rohingya camp.
